Rot with me here, just for a little while

There was a small town along the river, with a church up on the hill, and the people below: bleeding, hungry, and crying out for a God who wasn't listening.

The town's daughters cried out for change. They yearned for a merciful God, but those with keen ears and eager hearts knew that the only way out was to become that which they had been bred to fear.
A Heretic.

Creatures of nature, baptised in the swamps, and bodies sharpened for the hunt. The daughters of the creek have felt themselves rot from the inside, carved by pain and violence inflicted on them by 'merciful' hands.

They will cross the boundary, join the ranks of man-killers all to return to their home, and deliver vengeance on those who sought to destroy them - bloody and sweet.

When God is silent, Nature provides.

O God, wherefore art thou absent from us so long: why is it thy wrath so hot against the sheep of thy pasture?
